Following relaxation of the restrictions on travel that have been in place during the pandemic, all the Motivate2Create partners were able to meet together in person in London on 28 March 2022. The meeting was hosted by UK partner, Rosetta Arts at their Learning Centre in East London.
Meeting in person enabled the partners to work productively together in workshops to prepare for the Learning Teaching Training Event in Barcelona in June, which will bring together community leaders and facilitators in Action Learning Sets to co-create learning materials.
The planning sessions were based upon results of needs analysis questionnaires completed by project participants. The workshops re-enforced the andragogical basis of the project, starting with what adults want to learn. The needs analyses highlighted the emphasis on experiential learning and action learning and the importance of working with learners to develop learning goals in co-design of the curriculum using accessible language. Through the process of the workshops, the partners collectively agreed the content of days one through to three, along with learning methodology and learning aims and outcomes.
The results were collated by Rinova into a delivery plan, including a series of short online sessions to collaborate and plan in the lead up to the event.
The meeting also began to address the production of the IO3 Pocket Guide, led by Materahub – how it will be interactive and how it builds upon and complements the learning modules.
